Dedicated Teacher Leaves Generous IRA Bequest

A passion for teaching and a love of history led Jim Kluger '61 to dedicate his life to students. Jim spent his life as an educator, teaching at Pima College in Tucson, AZ.

Jim was deeply appreciative of the high quality Catholic liberal arts education he received at St. Ambrose University. He designated the university as the charitable beneficiary of one of his IRA's, as well as his personal library collection.

St. Ambrose University honored Jim by creating an endowed scholarship in his name and naming a classroom in Center for Health Sciences Education at Genesis, which was dedicated in 2010.
